Morocco Aims to Maintain Perfect Record in Final Group Match Against South Africa
It is this Monday, July 1, 2019 that the "Atlas Lions" of Morocco will play their last group match against the South African team. Already qualified, the Moroccans must above all remain focused and try to obtain the last three points, before thinking about the round of 16.
This objective was recalled yesterday, Sunday, June 30, 2019, by the coach of the "Atlas Lions", Hervé Renard, who wanted to congratulate the players for their performance and for their two victories against Namibia and Côte d’Ivoire. But the path remains strewn with obstacles.
"So far, we have followed our schedule but let’s be vigilant. This is what we need to focus on because, in this group again, anything can happen. We must not waste the two good positive results we have obtained, with this last match against South Africa," warned the French coach.
Returning to today’s match, Hervé Renard talks about a few changes, to rest some players. "We will make two or three changes but you will see tomorrow. We are not trained this afternoon and the most important thing is the players’ feeling. Tonight, therefore, I will not be able to know the situation, in terms of form, and I will therefore decide who will start the game".
