Morocco Coach Hervé Renard Expected to Resign After Africa Cup of Nations Failure

It’s just a matter of hours, apparently. The coach of the Moroccan national football team, Hervé Renard, must submit his resignation, following his disastrous failure at the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN).
The information is revealed by the Arryadia channel, which cites a source close to the French coach. It is therefore to be taken with caution, even if we can well imagine that Hervé Renard’s days at the head of the "Lions" are now numbered.
The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaâ, had met the coach last week to discuss the reasons for the national team’s failure in the African competition. Another meeting is also scheduled this week with Hervé Renard. Even if its content is not disclosed, we can well imagine that it is to discuss his future.
Hervé Renard should not have any difficulty finding a coaching job, as many countries have already shown interest in his skills, even before the elimination of the "Lions". These include Saudi Arabia, Egypt and even Iran, unless he returns to the French championship.
