Morocco’s World Cup Star Achraf Hakimi to be Honored in Mother’s Hometown

The city of Ksar El Kébir will hold a ceremony in honor of the Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi. It will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
Indispensable in the journey that Morocco has had, Achraf Hakimi will be celebrated by the commune of Ksar El Kébir, the hometown of his mother. Through the ceremony that will be offered to him, the inhabitants wish to also celebrate the feat achieved by the Atlas Lions during this international competition.
Achraf Hakimi will proceed to the inauguration of a renovated former football field that bears his name. This is one of his rewards for having contributed to Morocco’s performance at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
