Morocco’s Historic World Cup Run Ends with 2-0 Loss to France in Semi-Finals

The Moroccan national football team lost tonight against the defending champions, France, by 2 goals to 0, in the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.
Surprised at the start of the match (5th minute - Théo Hernandez), the Moroccans took a blow for about twenty minutes before gradually taking the upper hand over the French. The Moroccan counterattacks and attacks unfortunately failed to reach Lloris’ nets.
At the start of the second half, the Moroccan team believes in it and largely dominates the 20 minutes before slowing down the pace and rhythm under the pressure of the French and the new substitutes, but also the fatigue of the Atlas Lions. The second goal (79th minute - Muani) does not extinguish the hopes of the Moroccans who have maintained a sustained rhythm until the final whistle.
Special mention again tonight to Ounahi, Hakimi, Ziyech and Amrabat.
Appointment on Saturday at 4pm for the third place match against Croatia.
