Morocco’s World Cup Heroes Offered Massive Bonus by Israeli-Moroccan Tycoon

Qualified for the World Cup semi-finals, Achraf Hakimi and his teammates could, if they accept, pocket a large bonus on their return from Doha, offered by the Israeli businessman of Moroccan origin, Yossi Dahan.
The director of Eldan, Israel’s largest automotive leasing and car rental conglomerate, said he was happy with the exploits of the Atlas Lions at the World Cup. A pride born of his Moroccan roots, reports the Israeli site lphinfo.com.
"I don’t think there is a word in Hebrew to express my joy. I left Morocco but Morocco is still in me. In my heart and in my blood, there is 20% Moroccan. My friends in Morocco are so happy. In a way, this victory has given them a new status," said the businessman.
To materialize this joy, Yossi Dahan decided to offer $10,000 to each of the 26 players in Qatar, after their qualification for the quarter-finals. The same bonus will be renewed for the semi-final and the final, he promised. "I want to express my joy by giving money to the national team players. This is my personal money, it is not my company that is giving," the donor specified.
And to add: "for the moment, I have not yet given anything." Dahan said he has already contacted all the people indicated in the transaction, so that they inform the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) of his proposal.
