Morocco’s World Cup Heroes Donate Bonuses to Aid Poor Families and Children

The Atlas Lions who brilliantly participated in the 2022 Qatar World Cup will receive bonuses and intend to donate them to the needy in Morocco. The FRMF will receive a check for $25 million from FIFA.
"The entire Moroccan team has decided to donate all their World Cup bonuses to poor children and families in Morocco. A team of the people," Khaled Beydoun writes on Twitter. This magnanimous gesture is hailed by Internet users. "As compatriots and citizens of EU/Western countries, most Moroccan players understand the meaning of value and quality of life! Moroccan children in need are lucky because their national football team, most EU and Western players, earn millions and understand what equal and fundamental rights are," writes one Internet user. "They really are a special team," writes another.
A Turkish Internet user salutes the generosity of the Atlas Lions and takes a jab at Turkey. "The Turkish team can learn something from this team. A real team and a team of the people. Not for their own glory, but they did their best for their nation. The question is: is the Republic of Turkey still a Republic for all Turks?"
