Morocco: what mission for Hussein Ammouta?

After leading the Jordanian national team to a historic feat at the Asian Cup, coach Houcine Ammouta has decided to take on a new challenge.
The coach is preparing to join the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, thus leaving his duties in Jordan with his staff.
This return to Morocco is motivated by family reasons, he said. Ammouta and his team have previously collaborated with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation by taking charge of the Moroccan under-23 national team.
The position that Ammouta will occupy in Morocco has not yet been revealed, but Morocco, which is hosting the Africa Cup of Nations next year and the 2030 World Cup, is absolutely determined to make a strong impression. Moreover, Walid Regragui, who has stated that he wants to bring new blood into his team, could also call on him, even if the latter would rather be the head coach.
