Morocco Welcomes American Jewish Journalists to Showcase Tourism and Religious Tolerance
The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and the Provincial Tourism Council of Ouarzazate (CPT) have offered a three-day press trip to a dozen journalists from the Jewish community in the United States.
Started on May 10, this press trip will end on Thursday. For the ONMT, the purpose of this press trip is to promote Morocco to the American Jewish community, highlight the tourist attractions of the city, and finally show them how Morocco has managed to become a land of tolerance and coexistence between the three monotheistic religions.
For Siham Rida, President of the CPT "the professionals of Ouarzazate intend to do everything to support the promotional efforts undertaken by the Moroccan National Tourist Office, in particular the magnificent "Morocco, Land of Light" operation". She emphasizes that "the professionals of the city have mobilized for the successful completion of this promotional operation and are very optimistic about the recovery of the sector, especially with the good performances achieved following the organization of major sporting events (Aicha des Gazelles rally, Marathon des Sables) and the resumption of international filming".
Among the media participating in this press trip are Jewish Press, the largest independent Jewish weekly in the USA, oriented towards the Orthodox Jewish community, Luxury Web Magazine, La JJewish News published by JLTV which is a monthly e-mag dedicated to "the art of living well".
