Morocco Upgrades Air Force with Advanced US Computer Systems

The Royal Moroccan Air Force (RMAF) is equipping itself with state-of-the-art computer systems to optimize its operations, according to an official US document.
This contract, which runs until 2034, covers services provided by the American company ELB Services LLC at the Hill Air Force Base in Utah and abroad. Abdelhamid Harifi, a military expert contacted by Médias24, recalls that a similar contract had already been concluded last year with this same company, on behalf of Utah’s strategic allies, including Morocco.
This UNIX operating system will allow the RMAF to plan a variety of missions: air combat, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, logistics and transport. "The RMAF attaches crucial importance to computer tools to optimize their resources and ensure the efficiency of their squadrons," explains the expert. The latter also points out that "the RMAF already has various complementary systems, some of which are designed by their own engineers," proof of their technological expertise.
This initiative is part of the RMAF’s modernization strategy, concerned with strengthening its operational capabilities and remaining at the forefront of innovation in defense matters.
