The number of ultra-wealthy individuals in Morocco is experiencing rapid growth, according to recent data from Knight Frank. This dynamic is accompanied by strong vitality in the luxury real estate market, particularly in Marrakech.

In its 2026 edition of "The Wealth Report," luxury real estate specialist Knight Frank provides an overview of global wealth creation. Among global trends, Morocco stands out for a remarkable evolution of its population of so-called "UHNWI " (Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals), which refers to individuals with a net worth exceeding 30 million dollars.

The report’s statistics reveal spectacular growth in this category of residents within the Kingdom. While Morocco had 305 ultra-wealthy individuals in 2021, this figure jumped to 432 in 2026, representing an impressive increase of 41.6 % in just five years. And the trend is expected to continue, as Knight Frank’s evaluation model projections estimate that the country will be home to 550 UHNWIs by 2031.

The ochre city has thus recorded an annual increase of 4.0% in prices of its prestigious residences over the last twelve months analyzed, confirming its constant attractiveness in this exclusive sector.
