Fifteen hotels distinguished by the Forbes Travel Guide 2026 (list)
With fifteen establishments distinguished, Morocco shines in the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide 2026. Marrakech confirms its supremacy by winning the majority of the titles, including the two exclusive "Five-Star" distinctions awarded to the Kingdom.
The Kingdom confirms its status as an essential destination for global luxury tourism. In its 2026 edition, the highly selective "Forbes Travel Guide" has selected fifteen Moroccan addresses among the 2,421 hotels evaluated worldwide. This ranking, based on anonymous inspections and more than 900 rigorous criteria, rewards not only the beauty of the places, but above all the excellence of the service and the customer experience.
Not surprisingly, Marrakech acts as the locomotive of this national excellence. The ochre city concentrates nine of the awarded establishments and holds the exclusivity of the "Five-Star" category, awarded to the Royal Mansour Marrakech and the Mandarin Oriental. Other icons of the city, such as La Mamounia, the Fairmont Royal Palm or the Four Seasons, rise to the rank of "Four-Star", consolidating the city’s reputation for highly personalized hospitality.
However, Moroccan luxury is no longer limited to its traditional bastions. Rabat is making a remarkable breakthrough with three "Four-Star" rated hotels (Conrad Arzana, Four Seasons Kasr Al Bahr and Ritz-Carlton Dar Es Salam), while Casablanca places its Royal Mansour in the same category. Beach destinations such as Oualidia and Tamuda Bay (Tétouan) also manage to join this exclusive ranking, testifying to a homogeneous upgrade across the entire territory.
