Morocco U18 Defeats Algeria 2-0 in Mediterranean Games Football Match

The Moroccan under-18 national football team won Tuesday against Algeria (2-0), as part of the Mediterranean Games taking place in Oran, Algeria. Good news for the Atlas Cubs, who are thus giving themselves more chances to qualify for the second round.
While the score was 0-0 at the end of the first half, the Moroccan players came back from the locker room more committed than ever, pouncing on all the goal opportunities. A determination that will eventually prove them right as they managed to defeat the Algerians in front of their home crowd.
The two goals of this match, which took place on Tuesday in Oran, during the second day (group A) of the Mediterranean Games, were scored by Othmane Boukhriss in the 47th minute and Abdellah Raihani in the 63rd minute.
With this victory, Morocco is tied on points (3) with Algeria, who had defeated Spain (1-0), and France, who had also beaten Morocco (1-0). Spain currently has zero points and will have to face Morocco on Thursday. Algeria will be up against France.
