Morocco U18 Advances to Mediterranean Games Semifinals, Edging Out Algeria

The Moroccan under-18 football team has secured its ticket for the semi-finals of the Mediterranean Games taking place in Oran, Algeria. Against Spain, the Atlas Cubs managed a draw that allows them to qualify for the next round.
Last Thursday, the Moroccan under-18 team snatched a draw against their Spanish counterpart (1-1), as part of the third day of the group stage.
With this draw, Morocco totals 4 points, and finishes the group stage in second place behind France (6 points) and ahead of Algeria (3 points) and Spain (2 points). To win their ticket to the final, the Cubs will have to face Italy.
