Morocco U17 to Face Algeria in Arab Cup Final After 2-0 Win Over Yemen

The Moroccan under-17 national football team defeated Yemen 2-0 on Monday, thus qualifying for the Arab Cup final. They will face Algeria in the final next Thursday.
By participating in this competition, Morocco aimed for the final. Mission accomplished by the Atlas Cubs on Monday evening in Sig (Mascara), Algeria. The two goals of the match were scored by Mouad Bakizane in the 78th minute, and Saïd Rafai in stoppage time on an individual move. For its part, Algeria obtained its ticket for the final after beating Saudi Arabia in the fateful penalty shootout (5-4). The score at the end of regulation time was (0-0).
Morocco-Algeria remains a purely Maghreb confrontation to be closely followed. The protégés of Saïd Chiba, close to the goal, will try everything to bring the cup back to Morocco. As for the Algerians playing at home, revived by the presence and support of their public, they will not make the task easy for the Atlas Cubs. The Morocco-Algeria clash for the final of the U17 Arab Cup is scheduled for Thursday, September 8 at the Sig (Mascara) stadium.
