Morocco wants to train thousands of graduates per year in digital

The kingdom is undertaking a radical transformation of its human capital. The goal is to increase the annual number of graduates in the digital field from 8,000 to 22,500 by 2027. In terms of infrastructure, 5G has already been deployed in more than 50 cities since November 2025, while the national plan aims to connect 5.6 million households to fiber optic by 2030.

Administrative modernization is the second pillar of this strategy. The « IDARATI x 2.0 » project, launched on February 10, 2026, now offers a unified and intelligent access to public services. More than 600 services are available online, including a chatbot capable of guiding users for priority procedures such as school enrollment or the baccalaureate exam.

To establish its technological sovereignty, the country launched the « AI Made IN MOROCCO » initiative last January. This program is accompanied by the creation of « Jazari » institutes, centers of excellence dedicated to artificial intelligence. « These projects reflect an integrated government vision to build a competitive digital economy », emphasizes Minister Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni.
