Orange’s Winning Strategy in Morocco
By 2025, Orange Morocco has consolidated its position as the second-largest national operator thanks to record growth in its data services. Driven by massive investments in 5G, the subsidiary has established itself as a strategic driver for the group.
Orange Morocco now holds 33.7% of the mobile market share, ranking behind Maroc Telecom. This performance is based on an offensive strategy to conquer customers and enhance digital services. According to nPerf, the operator has the best national network, an asset complemented by the acquisition of the "Customer Service of the Year" title for the ninth consecutive year.

The year 2025 was marked by the acquisition of 5G licenses for 52 million euros. The operator has committed to covering 28% of the population as early as 2026 and 74% by 2030, while also strengthening rail and highway networks. At the same time, the landing of the Medusa submarine cable in Nador is strengthening the Kingdom’s international connectivity, positioning it as a technological bridge between Africa and Europe.
Within the Africa and Middle East region, Orange Morocco is emerging as a major subsidiary with the inauguration of the group’s largest Tier III data center in the region. The operator is also engaged in a social and environmental approach through the Orange Digital Center, dedicated to the training and support of startups, as well as the launch of local initiatives for the treatment of electronic waste.

Overall, the group is reporting a turnover of 40.4 billion euros, with a net profit of 3.1 billion. The regional area now contributes 26.5% to the company’s total EBITDAaL. According to the annual report, this momentum is based on the explosion of mobile data (+18.6%) and fixed broadband (+18.4%), confirming the profitability of the Moroccan market.
