Morocco Tops African Business Climate Ranking in Latest CIAN Barometer Survey

A survey places Morocco at the top of the CIAN Barometer ranking on the business climate in Africa. This study, which measures the strengths and weaknesses of the different countries, is a benchmark indicator for investors and decision-makers.
This study, which covered 31 African countries, is carried out annually by the French Council of Investors in Africa (CIAN), it is indicated in a press release, specifying that it collects from foreign companies operating on the continent their assessment of the business climate, the prospects for their activity, and whether they intend to make new investments.
More efficient than in 2019 where it obtained 3.1 out of 5, Morocco comes out tied with Mauritius, with a score of 3.2, far ahead of South Africa, 2.9; Egypt, 2.9; Tunisia, 2.8; Mauritania, 2.6; Algeria, 2.5, according to the CIAN barometer.
The French Council of Investors in Africa (CIAN) is a circle that brings together and assists most of the French companies established on the African continent with whom they carry out 80% of their business volume, estimated at 60 billion Euros.
