Morocco Tightens Lockdown Measures as Coronavirus Cases Surpass 1,000

Faced with the increase in the number of coronavirus infection cases that Morocco has recorded in recent days, firmness will be total in the coming days.
Morocco has exceeded the bar of 1,000 people infected with the coronavirus, recorded 71 deaths, 76 recoveries. With this assessment, the authorities will move, in the coming days, to a higher stage in the application of the measures of the state of health emergency decreed, in order to curb the spread of the virus, reports Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.
"The transmission of the virus in epidemic outbreaks within families is attributable to the fact that people continue to leave their homes, but also to people who were incubating at the time the confinement came into force," explained on Sunday, the director of epidemiology and disease control at the Ministry of Health, Mohamed El Youbi.
