Morocco Thrashes Uganda 5-1, Secures CHAN 2021 Quarter-Final Spot

Morocco qualified on Tuesday in the group stage matches of the African Nations Championship in Cameroon (CHAN 2021). The Atlas Lions won against the Ugandan Cranes, with a score of 5 goals to 1.
The five goals of the Moroccan team were scored in turn by Ayoub El Kaabi, whose goal came in stoppage time of the first half on a penalty (45+2), Soufiane Rahimi (51st and 80th), Hamza El Moussaoui (71st) and Abdelilah El Hafidi at 90+2.
This result allows Houcine Ammouta’s players to clinch first place with 7 points obtained in two wins and one draw, just ahead of Rwanda, the second qualified team.
