Morocco Advances to CHAN Semi-Finals with Dominant 3-1 Win Over Zambia

Morocco won, Sunday, January 31 at the Reunification Stadium in Douala, against Zambia (3-1) in the quarter-finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN). It thus secures its ticket for the semi-finals and will face Cameroon, who defeated DR Congo.
A great victory for the defending champion. Morocco played a great game throughout the match. With a pass from Abdelilah Hafidi served in depth, Sofiane Rahimi, deceives the Zambian goalkeeper Allan Chibwe and opens the scoring in the 38th second. The pace accelerates. Mohammed Ali Bamaamar scores the second goal without difficulty (8th, 2-0). The Chipolopolo lose all hope. Team captain El Kaabi Ayoub increases the score in the 39th minute of play. A difficult first half for Zambia.
