Morocco U-20 Team to Face Algeria in Key CAN 2021 Qualifier Match

The Moroccan U-20 national team will face Algeria on December 18 in Tunis, a match counting towards the qualifiers for the 2021 CAN in this category. In addition to the Algerian selection, Morocco will also face Tunisia, Libya and Egypt during this qualifying tournament.
The stakes are high for Osian Roberts, the national technical director, who has worked hard to prepare his protégés for this tournament taking place from December 15 to 27. Morocco will face Algeria at the El Menzah stadium in Tunis, following the draw made on Monday remotely by the North African Football Union (UNAF), informs the daily Al Massae.
The Moroccans will follow up with Tunisia on December 21, Libya on December 24, Egypt on December 27, still at the El Menzah stadium. Only the top two teams will qualify for the final phase, scheduled in Mauritania from February 14 to March 4, 2021. Among the referees who have been selected, five come from Morocco. They are Jalal Jaid and Bouchra Kerkoubi, Hicham Ait Abbou, Hamza Naciri and Fatiha El Jarmouni, the daily specifies.
