Morocco U20 Team Secures Spot in Africa Cup of Nations After Draw with Libya

The Moroccan under-20 football team has managed to qualify for the next Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Mauritania. Zakaria Ayoub’s protégés secured their qualification after a draw against the Libyan selection at the Stade Olympique de Radès in Tunisia.
The joy is at its peak among the Atlas Cubs. Their qualification came after a difficult match that took place as part of the 4th round of the North African Football Union (UNAF) Tournament at the Stade Olympique de Radès in Tunisia. The Moroccans opened the scoring in the 31st minute of play on a penalty converted by Oussama Tirghaline. They were caught up in the score in the 47th minute on a goal by Libyan Mohamed Khalil.
A draw that allows Morocco to be at the rendezvous of a competition it has not participated in for 15 years.
