Visits to prisons are prohibited from Tuesday, September 8 until the real improvement of the epidemiological situation in Morocco. The announcement was made on Monday by the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR).
The restrictions imposed everywhere in Morocco are reaching the prisons throughout the territory. The suspension of family visits is intended to protect the prison population and the staff of penitentiary establishments, reports the MAP, which stresses that the DGAPR will maintain the measure until "the appropriate circumstances and conditions" allow its lifting.
