Morocco Stuns World Cup with Historic Round of 16 Qualification, Impressing Cultural Leaders

The president of the Arab World Institute, Jack Lang, hailed the determination, strength and intelligence of the Atlas Lions, after their qualification for the round of 16 of the World Cup.
"It’s fantastic and fabulous, every moment we’ve been amazed, transported, moved," said Jack Lang. A "true triumph", underlines the former French Minister of Culture. For him, Morocco has reached this stage of the competition by aligning "sporting intelligence, strength of character and team cohesion", reports the MAP.
The president of the Arab World Institute congratulates Walid Regragui, the coach of the Atlas Lions, for the work accomplished in a short time. "The Moroccan national team is remarkably led, animated and motivated, in a kind of sporting and footballing masterpiece that illustrates, beyond the team and the players, the vigor of the Moroccan people, who have known how to advance, fight, create and imagine."
The president of the IWI hopes that Morocco will make more people dream by going as far as possible in the competition, even if what has been accomplished is already "remarkable".
