Morocco Awarded 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Delighting Football Fans

Morocco has been unanimously chosen as the host country for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, a decision welcomed by the president of the Arab World Institute (IMA), Jack Lang.
For him, it is a "magnificent news and great happiness for all the friends of Morocco and sport". He warmly congratulates the Moroccan players and teams, stressing that they deserve this attribution after their performance during the last World Cup in Qatar.
Jack Lang also recalls the previous exhibition organized by the IMA in 2019, highlighting football and the Arab world, where Moroccan players were honored. According to the eternal French Minister of Culture, these players will once again be the "heroes of the pitches" during the live broadcasts of the matches of the competition broadcast on a large screen from the forecourt of the IMA.
In parallel, during the same meeting, the CAF Executive Committee awarded the organization of the 2027 CAN to the tripartite candidacy of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
