Morocco won tonight against the Portuguese team 1-0. This victory allows the Atlas Lions to qualify for the semi-finals. Yes, the semi-finals of the World Cup.
It was tough, but they did it. After opening the scoring in the first half through Youssef En-Nesyri, the Moroccans held on against a Portuguese team that tried everything to equalize. Fortunately for the Moroccans, they did not give up, with once again a very good defense, albeit deprived of one of its best elements after Saïss’ exit and Aguerd’s absence.
Morocco will face France or England in the semi-finals.
