Morocco was one of the key players in the latest FIFA ranking update. After being crowned world champion in 2022 in Qatar, Argentina became the new world number one thanks to two friendly wins against Panama and Curaçao.
France, the unfortunate finalist of the last World Cup, has risen to second place after beating the Netherlands and Ireland. But the big surprise is Brazil’s drop to third place.
