Morocco’s Sofiane Boufal Linked to Al Ahly Transfer from Qatar’s Al Rayyan

Moroccan striker Sofiane Boufal could soon be settling in Egypt. According to several local media, the Al Rayyan player is on the radar of the African giant Al Ahly.
Recruited by the Qatari club in January 2023 from Angers SCO for a sum of 6 million euros, Boufal could change clubs again this summer. Negotiations are reportedly underway between the two clubs, and an agreement seems to be emerging for a transfer estimated at around 3 million euros.
If this transfer materializes, it would be a nice catch for Al Ahly, who wants to strengthen its offensive sector. Boufal, nicknamed "the Maradona of the Arabs" in Egypt, is a technical and talented player, capable of making the difference on a pitch as he has shown on several occasions with the Moroccan national team.
