Moroccan Star Sofiane Boufal Exits Al Rayyan, Egyptian Club Poised to Sign

The Qatari club Al Rayyan has terminated the contract of Moroccan international Sofiane Boufal "by mutual agreement". An opportunity for an Egyptian club that wishes to acquire the services of the 30-year-old player.
"The club and the player Sofiane Boufal have reached an agreement to terminate the contract between the two parties by mutual agreement. Thank you, Soufiane. We wish you good luck and success in the future," Al Rayyan announced on its X account. The Moroccan striker had been recruited by the Qatari club in January 2023 from Angers SCO for a sum of 6 million euros.
What will be Boufal’s next destination? Would he accept to join Al Ahly or will he look for another opportunity in Europe or in the Gulf? Since August, the Moroccan striker has been on the radar of the Egyptian club, which wishes to recruit him to strengthen its offensive sector.
