Morocco Slips to 43rd in FIFA World Rankings Despite Recent Victory

Morocco’s convincing victory over Burundi did not allow a rise in the FIFA world football team rankings for November. The Atlas Lions lose a place and are now ranked 43rd.
From 42nd place in October, Morocco now occupies the 43rd place in November. Thanks to its victory over Burundi for the second round of the CAN-2021 qualifiers, the Atlas Lions have 1456 points and are aligned behind Senegal (1555 pts), Tunisia (1506 pts), Nigeria (1493) and Algeria (1482).
At the top of the pack, globally, Belgium dominates with 1765 points ahead of France (1733 pts), followed by Brazil (1712 points). As for Croatia, it inherits the 6th place with 1642 points and surpasses Portugal, 7th with 1639 points.
At the continental level, the Moroccan team nevertheless maintains its place in the top 5 as in October.
