Morocco Holds Steady at 43rd in Latest FIFA World Rankings

Morocco retains its 43rd place in the latest FIFA ranking, published on Thursday, February 20.
The Atlas Lions have remained in the same place in this new FIFA/Coca-Cola ranking. In Africa, Morocco is still in the top 5, far behind Senegal who is leading the ranking.
Senegal is followed by Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria. In 43rd place, Morocco has 1,465 points. This positioning is justified by the fact that the Moroccan national team has not yet played any matches in 2020.
The next gathering of the Lions is scheduled for March, with the Central African Republic, on March 27, at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca for the 3rd round of Group E qualifiers.
As for the last matches of the national team, as part of the qualifications for the 2020 CAN, they resulted in a victory against Burundi and a draw against Mauritania.
