Morocco Slashes Covid-19 Test Prices: PCR Now 400 Dirhams, Antigen 200

In accordance with the decisions of the inter-ministerial price commission, the order setting the new Covid-19 test rates was published on Thursday in the official journal. Since this morning, the new prices have been applied in pharmacies and dispensaries.
Signed by the Minister of Economy, Finance and Administration Reform, Mohamed Benchaaboun, the order indicates a drop in the prices of SARS-CoV-2 virus screening tests, in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of Law 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition.
Thus, the prices of PCR tests drop to 400 DH, while the prices of antigen tests drop to 200 DH and those of serological tests to 120 dirhams. As for the prices of rapid tests, they are set at 600 DH.
