Morocco Shifts to Written COVID-19 Updates, Reduces Press Conferences

As of this Thursday, September 3, the update on the epidemiological situation in Morocco regarding the Covid-19 pandemic will be done in writing, in Arabic and French. The Ministry of Health made the announcement in a press release.
From now on, the daily report will be sent to the media at 6:00 PM. As for the weekly statement on the evolution of the health situation, it is replaced by a bi-weekly press conference. The ministry also stressed in its press release that the epidemiological situation will be updated daily on the ministry’s portal.
The Ministry of Health also took the opportunity to urge citizens to continue to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety, so that the fight against the pandemic bears fruit.
