Through a ministerial decree relating to the 2019-2020 school calendar, the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research has set the date of the next school year for September 5.
Teachers and students have just been informed of the date of the next school year. From the decisions of the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, it emerges that classes will resume on September 5, for the three cycles of education (primary, secondary college and secondary qualifying), and the preparatory classes for the Higher Technician Diploma.
According to the ministry’s press release, the administrative and teaching staff, the staff in charge of financial management services, the staff in charge of educational guidance and planning, and administrative, educational and social support staff, and common administrative staff, all grades combined, are called to join their workstations on September 3.
As for the teachers, they must join their posts on September 4. It is indeed by means of a ministerial decree relating to the 2019-2020 school calendar that the authority in charge of national education issues has set the dates of the start of the school year, exams and competitions, and professional competence exams, in the three cycles of education.
The same source specifies that concerning "the school program, the distribution of continuous control and exams, as well as the distribution of professional competence exams and the school holiday calendar", the ministry’s website is well indicated to provide more information.
