Morocco Sets September 5 as School Start Date for 2019-2020 Academic Year

For the next school year, classes will resume on September 5, 2019, for the three cycles of education (primary, secondary college and qualifying secondary) and the preparatory classes for the Higher Technician Diploma. This is the decision of the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Just a few more days and the students will be back on the school benches. To this end, by decision of the supervisory authority, the staff in charge of the management of financial services, educational and pedagogical planning, and administrative, pedagogical and social support, as well as the common administrative staff, all grades combined, will join their workstations on September 3, 2018, while the teaching staff will do so on September 4.
According to the same press release from the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research cited by Map Express, the Minister affirms that he has taken all the necessary measures for the smooth running of the operation and for the reception and guidance of students and their parents, as well as for the upgrading of school establishments, the opening of school canteens, boarding schools and the mobilization of human resources.
