Morocco Set to Receive First of 24 Advanced Apache Helicopters from US

Morocco is acquiring a cutting-edge weapon. A AH-64E Guardian Apache helicopter in Moroccan army colors has been spotted in a Boeing factory in the United States. It is one of the 24 aircraft ordered by the kingdom for an amount of $4.25 billion, according to the US State Department.
This acquisition marks an important step in the modernization of the Moroccan armed forces. The Guardian Apache, the flagship of American military technology, is renowned for its exceptional offensive capabilities. It excels in the destruction of tanks and armored vehicles thanks to its Hellfire missiles and automatic cannons.
In addition to its firepower, the aircraft has night vision systems, advanced sensors and the Longbow radar. The latter allows it to detect and track targets with devastating precision, day and night. Versatile, it can carry out close air support and air defense missions.
The initial contract provided for the purchase of 24 helicopters, with an option for 12 additional aircraft. The gradual arrival of these war machines will significantly strengthen the strike power of the Royal Air Force (FRA).
