Morocco Receives First Batch of Advanced Apache Helicopters from U.S.

The Royal Armed Forces (FAR) should receive this Monday the first six Apache AH-64E helicopters ordered from the United States.
These six American combat helicopters will be delivered this Monday to the port of Tanger Med, informs the specialized forum Far Maroc. This delivery of Apache AH-64E is the first of a series, as Morocco has ordered 24 units as part of the US government’s Foreign Military Sales (FMS) process.
The Apache AH-64E is an ultra-modern combat helicopter, compatible with all the latest systems in terms of communication, navigation, detection and armament, explains its manufacturer, Boeing Defense.
The aircraft can carry out day and night operations and in all weather conditions. It has an optimized fire control radar that allows it to identify and engage ground, air and maritime targets.
"It is one of the best attack helicopters in the world, comparable only to some Russian models, such as the Mi-28 Havoc or the Ka-52 Alligator, for many the best reconnaissance and combat helicopter in the world," thinks the Spanish media La Razon.
