Morocco Set to Acquire 24 Apache AH64 Attack Helicopters in $1.5 Billion Deal

Morocco intends to acquire 24 attack helicopters, "Apache AH64", in order to strengthen the "Abrams" tanks and, by ricochet, to solidify its air defense system.
According to the official US portal, export.gov, which helps US companies export products, Morocco has "requested the acquisition of 24 attack helicopters, "Apache AH64", for $1.5 billion". The signing of the contract would take place between October and November 2019.
The purchase of these helicopters will allow the Kingdom to strengthen the performance of the "Abrams" tanks. These tanks, it should be noted, will operate under the cover of artillery, as well as helicopters.
The same source indicates that the Kingdom also shows "marked interest" in the acquisition of air defense systems, "Patriot", and "G550" reconnaissance aircraft.
