Morocco’s Security Chief Urges Nationwide Mobilization Against COVID-19

Compliance with the state of health emergency now takes on a different scale. The Director General of the DGSN has given the precursors through a guidance letter to all his services to preserve the security of the citizen.
It was on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) that Abdellatif Hammouchi addressed this guidance letter to the entire family of the National Security, to active or retired officials, to their families as well as to the widows and orphans of the men and women of the Security. In this letter, he called for a "general mobilization to preserve the security of the citizen, especially in this context marked by the spread of covid-19".
Abdellatif Hammouchi noted that the celebration of the anniversary of the DGSN this year takes place in a particular context marked by security challenges that require "remaining vigilant and being on the job to ensure, at all times, the health security of citizens, on the one hand, and the maintenance of order and the security of persons and property, on the other".
