Morocco’s Security Chief Hammouchi Visits Spain After U.S. Trip, Bolstering International Cooperation

The journey of the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi continues. After his two-day working visit to the United States, he is currently in Spain.
At the head of a large delegation composed of directors and executives from the central services of the DGST, Abdellatif Hammouchi had exchanges with his Spanish counterparts on various issues of common interest. This involves strengthening bilateral security cooperation between Morocco and Spain in order to effectively respond to threats of any nature and origin.
Before meeting with his Spanish counterparts, the director general of the DGSN/DGST pole had traveled, on June 13 and 14, to Washington where he had talks with Avril Hainse, Director of National Intelligence, William Burns, Director of the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) and Christopher Wray, Director of the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation). The exchanges in the United States also focused on the security measures to be put in place in the face of new threats to peace and security at the regional and international level.
