FBI Director Visits Morocco to Bolster US-Morocco Security Cooperation

Currently on a working visit to Morocco, the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Christopher A. Wray, met on Tuesday in Rabat with Abdellatif Hammouchi, head of national security and territorial surveillance.
This new visit is part of the bilateral cooperation between the Moroccan and American security services. It aims to strengthen and develop this cooperation for regional and international security and stability.
Less than a year ago, it was Abdellatif Hammouchi who had traveled to the United States for several meetings with the director of U.S. intelligence services, the president of the Central Intelligence Agency and the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, according to a statement from the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
"This new meeting was an opportunity for the two parties to review the distinguished bilateral cooperation relations between, on the one hand, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), and, on the other hand, the American Federal Bureau of Investigation, and to exchange on emerging threats and security challenges related to various phenomena linked to transnational crime," the statement said.
