Morocco’s Security Chief Announces Key Appointments in Royal Palaces and Police Departments

The Director General of the Territorial Security (DGST), Abdellatif Hammouchi has made a new series of appointments, particularly within the Directorate of Security of the Royal Palaces and Residences.
These are more specifically a promotion to the position of head of the financial service within the Directorate of Budget and Equipment, as well as the position of head of the social work service within the Directorate of Security of the Royal Palaces and Residences, indicates a statement from the DGSN.
Changes are also announced at the head of the Kénitra police district and the anti-gang brigade of the judicial police in Salé, as well as the appointment of a head of the second brigade of the group for the protection of sensitive facilities in Rabat.
At the local level, seven new officials have been appointed to head the police services in the neighborhoods and agglomerations in Oujda, the same source specifies.
