Morocco Secures Second Place in Arab Mathematics Olympiad, Wins Four Medals

Morocco is ranked 2nd, ahead of Tunisia, at the second session of the Arab Mathematics Olympiad held on December 26. Ten Arab countries participated in this mathematical event.
This competition bringing together math students from Arab countries allowed Morocco to stand out with four medals, including one gold, two silver and one bronze. The Arab Mathematics Olympiad was organized by the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO).
The participating candidates came from Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Egypt and Iraq.
Saudi Arabia takes first place with two gold and two silver medals. Tunisia, ranked third behind Morocco, with one gold, one silver and one bronze medal.
