According to the results unveiled by the president of the scientific committee of the Arab Mathematics Olympiad, Tahar Dergaa, it is the Moroccan Yassir Abousir who won the gold medal of the competition. His teammates Ayoub abouhafs, Aymane Hajili and Hiba Farchioui, for their part, won three silver medals.
The Olympiad aims to "develop the mathematical and critical spirit in children and young people so that they can improve their skills in the service of the development of their countries and societies," the official recalled.
