The police and auxiliary forces of Fnideq have sealed off the entire coastal strip to prevent any attempt by young people to reach Ceuta.
In the night from Thursday to Friday, about ten young people were prevented from reaching the city of Ceuta. The authorities have set up barriers along the coast to deter these increasingly frequent attempts in recent weeks.
In these times of the Coronavirus pandemic crisis, these young people are embarking on this illegal migration enterprise by swimming or in inflatable boats to escape the consequences of the border closures and the halt of "food" smuggling.
