Morocco Schools Adjust Schedules for World Cup Match Against Canada

To allow students and parents to follow the decisive Morocco-Canada match, scheduled for Thursday at 5pm, private schools in Casablanca have not hesitated to adjust their work or study schedules. However, no special arrangements have been announced on the public sector side.
In Morocco, all eyes are turned to Qatar with the hope that the Atlas Lions will pass the first round of the competition on Thursday. Their resounding success against Belgium has restored confidence to all Moroccans who are mobilizing to accompany them towards another victory.
Thus, on the sidelines of Morocco’s 3rd match in Group F, private schools located in Casablanca have revised their schedules, to allow students and parents to follow the match. This is the case, for example, of the Lycée Lyautey and the Ernest Renan school, where the management has allowed students to leave classes at 3pm instead of 6pm, on the same day.
However, no measures have been announced so far on the side of public schools.
