Morocco School Officials Face Prosecution After Students’ Flag Prank Sparks Controversy

Students at a primary school would have, no doubt to play given their age, changed a Moroccan flag with a white sheet. And the thing took on a lot of importance... A lot of importance.
On May 17, six students aged 8 to 11 years old replaced a flag attached to a mast, in a school, with a white sheet. A whole story followed...
The Huffpost writes in this sense: "The director of the rural primary school Issaguen and two teachers will be summoned before the prosecutor in the coming days, reports the Spanish news agency EFE. They are accused of not having denounced a "crime" committed by their students". To then explain "the crime" in question: "The "crime" took place on May 17. Six children aged 8 to 11 years old removed the Moroccan flag from the school, which was attached to a mast, to replace it with a white sheet, reports EFE citing sources within the local authorities".
It should be noted that the students were heard by the authorities in the presence of their parents and then released later. But the principal and the two teachers will still be heard... An investigation would even have been opened on May 20.
Efe writes: "A police source told Efe that the two teachers and the director would be accused of not having reported a "crime"".
It should be noted that Efe specifies that the teachers were not aware that the flag had been changed and that the principal later changed the position of the mast so that such a thing would not happen again.
But... Despite the age of the children, the principal and teachers will still be heard. They would probably have had to inform the authorities that 8-year-old children put a white sheet in place of a flag.
