Morocco Rises to Top 5 Global Aerospace Hubs, Sector Set for Rapid Growth

Great potential for the aerospace sector in Morocco. The sector currently hosts 140 companies, and will have 220 within 11 years.
Morocco has already made a name for itself internationally as it is in the global top 5 of the most attractive countries for the establishment of subcontractors, just behind France, the United States, China and Germany.
According to the economist, in 5 years, the aerospace industry has doubled its turnover, reaching 17 billion dirhams, following the launch of the Industrial Acceleration Plan (PAI).
According to forecast sales, the sector will triple its revenues by 2021. The Economist argues that the local integration rate of the industry, which was set at 32% at the launch of this Plan, now exceeds 38%.
The newspaper also assures that the order books are full with operators.
Parts for about thirty models of aircraft are "Made in Morocco", so that the "Morocco" site has become an essential base in aerospace construction, distributed in the assembly, engineering, MRO (aircraft and engine maintenance), electrical systems, and in the composite, engine and on-board electronics ecosystems.
