Morocco Retains CHAN Title as King Mohammed VI Hails National Team’s Success

King Mohammed VI was pleased with the performance of the Atlas Lions at CHAN 2021, organized in Cameroon and won by Morocco. Through a message, he congratulated the local players, as well as the staff members for their flawless run.
In his message, Mohammed VI praised the efforts made by the local players to retain their title as African champions. He also saluted the coaches and medical, technical and administrative staff, as well as the leaders and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). The King says he appreciates the firm determination, the great sportsmanship that have inhabited the Moroccan players throughout the competition, reports the MAP.
While reiterating his pride in seeing Moroccan football take a prominent place in an African competition, the King wishes the members of the national team even more determination for more success in the various regional, continental and international competitions to come.
