Morocco’s CHAN Champions to Receive $1.25 Million Prize and Federation Bonuses

Moroccan players will pocket a big bonus after being crowned champions. In addition to the bonus offered by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has also promised to reward the local players.
The Atlas Lions have repeated the feat by winning the African Champions title for the second consecutive time. As an encouragement for this performance, the men of Houcine Ammouta will each receive 600,000 dirhams from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. As for the Confederation of African Football, it offers $1,250,000 to the CHAN winner, against $700,000 for the runner-up, reports Le360.
The semi-finalists receive $400,000, against $300,000 for the quarter-finalists. For the countries that finished third in their group, they leave with $200,000, and the last in each group will console themselves with $175,000.
